Jim Lucas has been a successful Certified Professional Inspector and educator for over 10 years.  He has  B.S. and M.A. degrees in Industrial Arts and Technology, is a California licensed building and engineering contractor and is an Industry consultant to the Contractors Licensing Board of California.  Jim has developed a Mobile Home Inspection Class and has trained thousands of Mobile Home Inspectors throughout the United States and has trained hundreds of home inspectors in California.  He is a member of the American Institute of Inspectors and is a member of CREIA where he is a member of the membership and bylaws committee, the current Northern California Director at large and a past chapter president. Jim is also a member of the California Coalition of Home Inspectors, a legislative watchdog group who wrote the California Home Inspector Law.
